We're Here to Help You!

Our friendly IT Help Desk team are here to help you with all your IT questions and support needs and can be reached Monday through Friday, from 8am to 6pm AEST (closed weekends and Public Holidays). There are four ways that you can get in touch with us, so choose the method that suits you best.

Log a Job

You can request support through the portal. Staff should also have a “аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø ServiceNow” icon located on their desktops, which is a shortcut to the site.

Email

Send us an email at ithelpdesk@jcu.edu.au and a job request will be automatically created for you in ServiceNow.

Call

Call the IT Help Desk during business hours from 8am to 6pm AEST (closed weekends and Public Holidays) to talk to one of our helpful staff.

Visit us in Person

Throughout the semester, we offer a service point on the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø Townsville campus to assist students and staff with any technical issues related to аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø IT Services. At the Townsville campus, our team is available from 10am to 1pm on weekdays in at the Student Services counter.

Report a Critical Service Outage (After Hours)

To report a critical incident outside normal business hours, contact the IT Duty Manager.  These phone numbers are not for general enquiries and should be used to report Critical Services outages only.
