International Student Orientation is compulsory for all students studying on an International Student Visa.
Further information, including exact timings and locations, will be provided to your by the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø team as part of your pre-departure communications. Please regularly check your аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø email.
Orientation will provide key information, contacts and campus knowledge to successfully commence your studies. It is also a great opportunity to meet and make friends with fellow students and аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø staff through fun social activities.
аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø Student Orientation week is the first week of university for students. Students should aim to arrive the week prior, and are required to attend the following events;
- International Welcome Event
- Complete your arrival check in, аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø account set up, and enroll in your classes
- Meet international student buddies, the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø academic and student support teams.
- College Orientation (Course Specific) (Monday/Tuesday)
- аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø Official Jumpstart (Monday)
- International Student Orientation (Wednesday)
Helpful information
If you are planning to study in 2024, but yet to receive your visa, or have already booked outside of the above times, please do not be concerned. The International Welcome event is not compulsory, however will be extremely beneficial should you be able to attend.
Please bring your photo ID (student ID card, passport or driver's license) and аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø username and password (if you have one) to assist the аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø Student Centre team in an efficient check in, account set up and enrolment.
